The position as System Configuration Specialist is a temporary maternity cover for 12 months (with the possibility for extension) based in our DK HQ and will be part of our IT/Franchise department, which include Global Retail IT, Engineering & Data Warehousing. The role is global. Additionally, the role will be having close collaboration with Operations, Franchise & our Marketing Teams.

The overall responsibility will be managing system configurations across business critical areas in JOE & THE JUICE. The objective is to improve our data foundation and ensure system stability through proper system configurations & planning of changes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and maintain system configurations across key business areas (e.g., point of sales, store, employee, customer, and vendor data).
  • Ensure accurate and timely configuration along with documentation across key business systems in the global organization.
  • Configure systems appropriately to maintain data integrity and support business operations, e.g. implement ITSM configurations.
  • Plan and coordinate system changes that impact system integrations, minimizing disruption.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, Global Retail IT, and Engineering & Data Warehousing teams to align on data needs and processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to data governance and data handling processes.
  • Build an overview of critical configurations & enable observability to misconfigurations, e.g., Grafana dashboards
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to prevent and correct data issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on data standards and entry procedures.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in system configuration management, data governance, or similar roles.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-site organization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data lifecycle, and data quality standards.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, POS, or MDM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and database queries (e.g., SQL) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of system configuration and change control processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Comfortable working with complex datasets and performing data validation.
